Wolfson Foundation Grant

The Science Faculty have been awarded a grant of £32,000 from the Wolfson Foundation which will help turn the department into a Centre for Scientific Excellence.

Success for S1 Designers

Following on from last month’s article, our S1 team of CDT pupils impressed the judges with their idea for a Social Hive, so much so that they secured a place in the ‘Design Jam’ at the V&A in Dundee!

Pupils Push for Period Poverty Prevention

S6 pupils Freya and Sarah were invited to a Scottish Parliament consultation on the Period Poverty Bill at PKAVS in Perth to share their thoughts on the benefits of free period products with representatives from Perth and Kinross Foodbank, members of local government, MSPs and the Communities Committee.

Callum's Charity Achievements

S2 pupil Callum Alexander has recently been named as one of Fife Herald’s top 10 Community Champions for 2019 for his incredible fundraising efforts.

After learning about how humans are having an increasingly negative impact on wildlife, Callum set up his own charity called Protection For Animals.
