16 May 2023 New Year Heads and Houses

From 22 May, the way we organise ourselves in school is changing to incorporate year teams. Parents and young people will continue to be supported by the house teams. They will be made up of the PT Pupil Support who will continue to be the main contact for parents/carers and young people. The reason for this change is that pupil support caseloads are reducing to 250 per PT Pupil Support, meaning your child will receive more support. Up until now, we have been operating with three house groups, but this will now be expanded to include a fourth house, Moncreiffe house. However, we will now operate year teams who will be supporting the pupil experience across the year. This will be supported by the DHT and a PT Curriculum.

18 April 2023 Perth and Kinross Anti-Bullying Strategy

We believe that bullying behaviour is unacceptable. The local authority is currently reviewing the anti-bullying strategy which we follow. We have volunteered to be involved in this review. This will ensure that Kinross pupils, parents and staff shape the new strategy. The Parent focus group will take place on Wednesday 26 April from 15:00 – 15:40pm. Brian Donnelly, an independent consultant from Orbis, will lead this discussion. If you would like to attend this focus group, please register here.
